Lady Trojans Compete in Elite Mustang Relay Meet

This past Monday, the Lady Trojans had the opportunity to compete in the best relay meet in the state of Illinois. The event featured boys and girls teams from all over the Chicago Suburbs that came to showcase their talent in the 4x200, 4x400, & 4x400. Our ladies handed in some of their best performances of the season as they held their own among the elite competition.

4x800 M. Relay

Our 4x800 M. Relay team got things started off for us by running an incredible time of 9:24.48! This time was only 1 second off the school record and two seconds off the meet record! Relay Members Moravec (2:18.7), K. Bonfield (2:25.1), Jan (2:22.0), & Urbancik (9:18.6) all turned in season best times as well as the #1 time in the State!

4x200 M. Relay

The 4x200 M. Relay team continued the momentum by running a spectacular time of 1:50.72 to place 15th out of 38 relay teams! Relay Members Reynolds (28.2), Schuetz (27.6), Henry (28.6), & Temple-Wood (26.1) all ran season best performances!

4x400 M. Relay

Urbancik (62.0), Schuetz (64.3), Jan (63.3), & Henry (64.4) combined to run a 4:14.03, which was just off of our season best time posted at York! Next Stop....Sub 4:10!!
