SECTIONAL INTERVIEW: Kenna Cinotte, Elisabeth Mooney

State qualifiers -- senior Kenna Cinotte and junior Elisabeth Mooney

Cinotte won all four of her events at the Class 3A Lyons Township Sectional -- breaking her school record again in triple jump (41 feet-1/2 inch), long jump, the 100 and as anchor of the 400 relay with Abby Streff, Mia Bowers and Elle Kowalski. Cinotte was an all-state sixth in triple jump as a sophomore. 

Mooney was part of the winning 800 relay, which finished second but then was awarded first after Lyons Township was disqualified for not crossing the finish line with possession of the baton. Rooney also competed at state in 2019 with the 800 relay after being an alternate for that sectional lineup.
