Seniors Melissa Jachim and Annie Bieda helped the Downers Grove North girls cross country team win its season opener over Glenbard West Friday, Sept. 4 at Camera Park in Glendale Heights. Jachim (18:22) and Bieda (19:00) finished third and sixth in the 2.88-mile race, in which the Trojans swept third through seventh place.
