Lake Park Invite VIDEO INTERVIEW: Melissa Jachim, Eva Bednard

Sophomore Melissa Jachim and junior Eva Bednard were the Downers Grove North's varsity lineup's top two finishers at Lake Park's Harvey Braus Invitational Saturday, Sept. 8.
Jachim earned a small medal for finishing 18th (18:56.34 for 3.0 miles), a significant improvement from finishing 35th in 2017. 
Bednard finished 33rd for the second year in a row (19:28.83) after taking 71st as a freshman.
The Trojans were fifth (178 points), just two points behind fourth-place St. Charles North.
